Extended Triangle Pose
A wonderful pose for strengthening the legs, groin, chest, and spine. Improves digestion, helps with flat feet, backache, sciatica, neck pain, stress, anxiety, infertility, osteoporosis, and can reduce the symptoms of menopause.
Beginners: If you feel unsteady in this pose brace the back of your torso against a wall. Advanced: To go a little deeper align the front heel with the back heel arch. |

1. Stand in Mountain pose step or jump your feet out 3 to 4 1/2 feet.
2. Bring your hands out parallel to the ground, shoulder blades back and palms face the ground.

3.Turn your left foot out slightly and your right foot out 90 degrees. Align the right heel with the left heel.
4. Exhale extend your torso and bend from the hip to the right. Touch your right finger tips to the chin, ankle or on the mat inside of the right foot. Gaze toward the ceiling.
5. Take several breaths, Inhale, press your heels into the floor and come back to mountain pose
