Is It Necessary to Rest or Meditate After Doing Yoga Poses?
The rest is the most important part of the yoga poses because it allows the muscles to restore themselves. After you do your poses your muscles will be open, the rest brings healing oxygen into these muscles and keeps them from tightening back up. When in relaxation pose you will want to keep your mind clear, a very difficult task! It will take some work just think of nothing and allow the entire body and mind to rest. Stay in the moment, don't think of the past or the future, life for now! |
