The most effective way to relieve your headache is to start your yoga breathing and stretching when you first feel the onset of a headache. Start out with focusing on where you feel tense. Is it your head, neck and shoulders? This is the most common place we carry out stress. Close your eyes and direct your focus on these muscles imagining them releasing and relaxing. Make sure you breath deeply taking oxygen to these muscles. Start slowly stretching and relaxing while you breath. If you take the time out of your busy day to respond to your body it won't take you out of your day in pain.
